The WERTHOLZ Group is an international group of companies owned by the Welz family. WERTHOLZ Holding GmbH, as a holding company, with its subsidiaries WERTHOLZ Österreich Holzhandels GmbH, WH Danubius s.r.o., WERTHOLZ Deutschland GmbH and dotparc Informationstechnologie GmbH belongs to the group of companies.

The activities of the WERTHOLZ Group began in 1989 with the founding of today’s WERTHOLZ Österreich Holzhandels GmbH by Werner Welz. Due to Werner Welz’s many years of experience and market contacts, the company was active throughout Europe right from the start. Today the company is managed by Werner Welz and his son, Michael Welz.

Today, the core competences of the WERTHOLZ Group are the trade in logs as well as the purchase and management of forestry operations and farms. The group of companies currently employs around 20 people and generates annual sales of around €10 million.
